Windermere Wakefest is back May 8th and 9th!

Come check out this awesome charity event on Lake Down in Windermere, Florida May 8th and 9th. A great event for the family with tons of things to check out during the Festival among the Lakes. All the top riders will be there, with a chance for $7,000 in prize value all donated for a good cause.

The Tournament is part of a weekend long festival presented by the Town of Windermere and the Rotary Club of Windermere that will raise over $100,000 for local charities. The Festival also includes live bands and entertainment, boat show, arts & crafts and food booths, along with a large fair for children.


Does it cost anything to watch the event?

Admission is only $5.00 per vehicle. The webcast is FREE for anyone who cannot make it !

FROM WEST OF WINDERMEREFROM INTERSTATE 4  TURN onto E WEST-
EXWY/FL-408 W (Portions toll).  8.4  miles

Take the  WEST COLONIAL  DRIVE/SR-50 exit-  0.7  miles

Turn LEFT onto W  COLONIAL DR/FL-50 W.  1.3  miles

Turn LEFT onto  MAGUIRE RD/CR-439.  3.0  miles

Camp  Down is South of PARK  AVE intersection on LEFT SIDE of MAGUIRE  RD

CONROY RD becomes  CONROY WINDERMERE RD.  3.1  miles

Turn RIGHT onto MAIN  ST/CR-439. Continue to follow MAIN  ST  1.0  miles

MAIN  ST is also  MAGUIRE  RD and  CAMP  DOWN will be on RIGHT  SIDE before PARK AVE Intersection.

Schedule of events:

Saturday – 30  riders
Registration opens at 12:00 (if not pre-registered and spots are  open)
First rider off the dock at  2:00 pm
6 heats of 5
Top 2 from each heat advance to  Sunday

Sunday – 12 riders
First Rider off dock at 1:30 pm
Finish Around 3:00 pm

Rider Registration:

Number will be limited to 30 riders with priority given during the advance registration period based on world ranking.

Advance Registration Fee: $125.00 Deadline: TBA
Registration Fee after April 1st: $175.00

Format:

Three judges, including the chief judge, will judge the contest.  Riders will be judged on the three following subjective style categories:

Execution = 33.3% technical difficulty, level of mastery of tricks
Intensity  = 33.4% how big and how far tricks are taken to their limit
Composition  = 33.3% variety of maneuvers, transitions between tricks and overall presentation of the run)
