For Immediate Release:
Lake Alfred, Florida (April 14, 2011) — What does the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour and Oompa Loompas have in common?… That’s right you guessed it, The Golden Ticket. So, you ask what is a Golden Ticket? It is a ticket that grants amateur wakeboarders the opportunity to compete with the top 40 professional wakeboarders in the world at the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. The lucky winners of these eleven tickets will also receive a free WWA Pro Membership and free entry into the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour.
The breakdown:
Seven amateur contests across the nation, including three INT Amateur Tour and four WWA Grassroots contests, have been selected as Golden Ticket contests. The winners and some runner-ups of the highest caliber divisions at each of these stops will be granted a Golden Ticket. These lucky individuals will then have an automatic bid to ride in the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. The chosen Golden Ticket contests will be: Frame Switch Lake, Monster Wake Jam, Spring 2 Summer, Tommy’s Golden Ticket, Rough River Rumble, Tug Lake, and Victory Lake. Contests that will be granted two Golden Tickets will be: Frame Switch Lake, Tommy’s Golden Ticket, Tug Lake, and Victory Lake.
Daniel Walden, 2010 Golden Ticket winner says “it’s a great opportunity for riders that weren’t able to make the Atlanta or Ft. Worth (PWT Qualifiers) stops to ride on tour.”
“These tickets are a perfect fit for the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, as the WWA continues to encourage amateur wakeboarders to take their riding to the next level” states Chris Bischoff, PWT Tournament Director.
Like Willy Wonka sings “We are the dreamers of dreams.” So, get out and ride; you could be the next Golden Ticket winner!
