Vancouver, WA (June 27, 2011) – Kyler Green and Robby Dahlquist un-wrap the Golden Ticket! TheNorthwest INT League hosted the Golden Ticket Event at the Battle on the Boarder on Tug Lakelast weekend. Five riders battled for the chance to compete alongside the top wakeboarders at the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour Stop in Monroe on July 9th. Among their ranks was Kyler Green, RobbyDahlquist, Ricky Ceccanti, Dakota Powers, and Kenny Hegewald.
The Nautique created a massive wake for the athletes to battle it out. The guys brought their “A” game,throwing both technical and stylish runs. The Outlaw riders had two opportunities to ride over theweekend, the riders with the best score for the weekend won the two Golden Tickets.
“We had a great weekend at Tug Lake. It was awesome to see some Outlaw riders come out and throw down, many of whom are long time INT riders and have worked hard to get to this level. We’re so excited to watch them ride at the Pro Tour stop. We’ll have a big group of people up there to support Kyler and Robby,” said Jacqueline Stocks of INT.
“I guess I better practice this week,” said RobbyDalhquist after receiving his award and the golden ticket.
The Golden Ticket program is a joined effort of the WWA, INT League, Pro Wakeboard Tour, and MasterCraft boats to provide local riders with the opportunity to challenge on the Pro Tour. This program started in 2010 and will continue to expand next season.
