Hosted by Family Powersports, the first stop of the Texas Wake series will hit Lubbock, Texas May 19th-May 21st. Amateur & Professional riders from across Texas will come together to kick off summer with a weekend on the water.

- Complete your event registration. Register for BOTH Texas Wake Series Stops now and save! (Wake the Canyon & Wake the Desert)
- Select WAKE THE CANYON & WAKE THE DESERT on the registration page and then we will connect with you to confirm your division!

- WWA Annual Membership (Valid for all WWA events through 12/31/23)
- WWA One Event Membership (Valid for one contest)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Must have a 2023 WWA Membership to participate
- Must register before entering the Buffalo Springs lake to avoid paying gate fee.
- will pick up wrist bands at the gate if you register before Competiton day.
- Must have wrist Band on at the gate.
- If you are picking up a wristband, come to Family PowerSports Lubbock Friday May 19th to pick up wrist band– 4202 W. Loop 289 Lubbock, TX
- Gate fee for non-riders at Wake the Canyon– Kids 0-5 FREE– Kids 6-11 $6– Adult 11 & Up $16– Adult 65+ $10-Adult Military ID $6– Police Officer W/ Badge Free

Jr. Wakesurf – Ages 0-9 – Anything goes
Kids Wakesurf – Ages 10-14 – Anything goes
Beginner – Men & Women | Skim & Surf – with or without rope
Intermediate Women Skim – Can drop the rope, stay with wave, make some turns
Intermediate Women Surf – Can drop the rope, stay with wave, make some turns
Intermediate Men Skin – Can drop the rope, stay with wave, make some turns
Intermediate Men Surf – Can drop the rope, stay with wave, make some turns
Masters Men Wakesurf– Ages 40+

Beginner Women – No spins over 180 or inverts

Intermediate Women – (1-3 inverts, no spins over 360)
Intermediate Men Wakeboard – (1-3 inverts, no spins over 360)
Advanced Women – (4-6 inverts, No Spin over 360, no mobes )
Advanced Men Wakeboard – 4-6 inverts, no spins over 540, no mobes )
Expert Women – 8-10 inverts (No spin over 540 no more than 1 Mobe)
Expert Men Wakeboard– (8-10 inverts, no spins over 720, no more than 2 mobes)
Outlaw Women – (12+ inverts, must be pro level rider to enter)
