We’re excited to present the all new USWL Colorado State Wakepark Championships, where community meets competition at Imondi Wake Zone. Participants from ALL states and wake parks are encouraged to join us for this fun event.

Friday (included in entry):

  • 10am – 11am: Competition Clinic
  • 10am – 8pm: Practice W/ the Pros! (Liam Brearley & John Dreiling)

Saturday (included in entry):

  • 10am – 2pm: Practice Sessions
  • 2pm – 8pm: Competition + Podiums
  • 6pm – 8pm: DJ

US Wakepark League:

The US Wakepark League is a Nationwide league with local events, area qualifiers (State and Regional championships), and ending with the Grande Finale, the US Wakepark National Championships. Earn seeding points for the National Championships happening at Shark Wake Park on August 8-11th! Find all the information you need to know about the USWL here!

Spectators Welcome:

Even if you’re not hitting the water yourself, come out and support your favorite riders as they battle it out. Spectators are welcome to join us at Imondi Wake Zone for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and camaraderie.

FAQ:

Friday June 28th, included in the entry, will be a Practice w/ the Pros day! 10-11 there will be an off the water competition clinic hosted by John Dreiling. Then 10-8 X Games Gold Medalist Liam Brearley and 2021 Wakeboarder of the Year, John Dreiling, will be joining the practice sessions where you will have an opportunity to meet them, ask them questions, and ride some doubles with them!

Free practice Saturday morning June 29th from 10-2. Depending on entries riders may be split into practice sessions to maximize everyone’s time on the water.

ONE DAY contest on Saturday June 29th from 2-8. We will run through the entire contest Saturday afternoon. This will allow people ample time to travel home on Sunday. If we finish early, the cable will be spinning for some fun laps!

Saturday fun! We will have a DJ out at the park Saturday afternoon. Come watch the end of the contest, podiums, and have a great time at the after party once the event ends!

It is NOT required (but it is recommended) to join in on the fun on Friday. If you are only available on Saturday, we still encourage you to come out and enjoy this fun action-packed day!

Format:
  • 1 lap + 1 kicker (designated air trick sections)
  • 2 kickers, 2-3 air tricks, 3-4 rails
  • Two runs. no pickups
  • Best run counts
Judging:
  • Broken into 3 sections. Score 1-10 for each section. Sections have unique percentages.
  • 3 judges give a score for each section. Scores are averaged together. 1 Scribe writing runs (if needed).
  • Composition penalized as you go
  • DRIVE Format (Difficulty, Risk, Intensity, Variety, Execution)

  • Round 1: amateur format
  • Rest of event: Run based Jam (best run in a given time)
  • Designated beginning and end of run

  • Score 1-100 for each run on overall impression. Best run counts
  • 3 judges each give a score for each rider. Scores are averaged together.
  • EDC Format (Execution, Difficulty, Composition)
