The Moomba Masters will take place as scheduled and is a part of both the Nautique Wake Series and Wakeboard World Series.
We will not be dropping a score for the 2022 Wakeboard World Series or the Nautique Wake Series. The 2022 rule is as follows:
WWA Wakeboard World Series and Nautique Wake Series Overall Rankings – The season series championship for Wakeboard World Series and other series when applicable will be determined by combining all points from all of the events in the individual series. In the event that event(s) are forced to cancel or postpone, the WWA reserves the right to adjust the overall ranking calculations accordingly for the 2022 season.
The WWA is not mandating vaccinations for participating athletes in its sanctioned events. We do advise that athletes may face significant challenges as they travel around the world for international events and may be prohibited from entering or leaving certain countries if they are not fully vaccinated or test positive. With the world and each countries’ restrictions continuing to change week-to-week, it is the athlete’s responsibility to verify all host countries requirements and comply with those rules (vaccination, testing and/or quarantine).
