The world’s best amateur and professional riders will convene in the tropical oasis of the Mayan Water Complex for a weekend of non-stop action to officially wrap the 2019 season and celebrate the WWA’s 30 Years of Wake. Hosted at the Mayan Water Complex in Playa del Carmen, Mexico the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships will join the WWA Wake Park World Championships presented by Nautique for the biggest global event in wake history on October 17th – 20th.

WAKE PARK PRACTICE INFORMATION
Private cable rentals are available each day from 7:00 – 9:10 a.m. for $860 USD.
Session Times: 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. and 8:10 – 9:10 a.m.
Sessions may include up to 24 riders per session.

Competitors will receive 20% off of regular individual rates for practice. These can be purchased at the park.
RIDER CHECK-IN INFORMATION
Rider check-in will take place at the host hotel (Iberostar Paraiso Lindo) in the Lindo Lobby Bar on Wednesday, October 16th starting at 4:00 p.m. Check-in is only available to registered hotel guests.
All riders not staying at the host hotel may check-in at the Wake Park (boat riders included) starting at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17th.
*All riders need to make sure they arrive at check-in with their memberships already completed.

JUDGES SEMINAR

*The Judges Seminar is $50 per person to attend. The 2-hour Judges Seminar will feature WWA officials explaining everything from how judging works and what the judges are looking for in competitive wake sports. You’ll receive a full judge’s manual, covering everything from formats, both wake park (cable) and wakeboard (boat), to seeding and judging sheets.
Riders will learn how to set up the best competition run for them and adjustments they can make if a fall occurs. This is a great opportunity to enlist parents and other volunteers to shadow judge the event while encouraging riders, parents

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
There will be FREE shuttles to/from the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and Mayan Water Complex for Iberostar hotel guests. Shuttles will start one hour before the event and will run for one hour after the event.
The shuttles will pick up at the Lindo Lobby on the hour and will leave the Mayan Water Complex on the 1/2 hour. Shuttles will fill based on a first come, first servebasis and will make a stop at the wake park and then the boat lake.
