For the first time in history, just under forty countries from around the globe will participate at the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships, kicking off the 30th year celebration of the World Wake Association.
The 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships will be held on August 30th – September 2nd in Miyoshi City, Japan and is open to competitors of all ages and skill levels! Register now to represent your country and avoid late fees! You will not be able to register the day of the event.
All riders representing countries outside of the U.S. are NOT required to qualify to compete at the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships. U.S. riders must have competed at the U.S. National Championships to qualify. Podium finishes are not required.
2018 Annual WWA Membership is required for all competitors.

Transportation
Buses will be provided to and from the event site, and each of the host hotels during the event. The buses are courtesy of the event and do not require a ticket or reservation.

There are two local airports near Miyoshi City, Tokushima Airport and Takamatsu Airport that you can connect to from Tokyo area airports.

If you choose to not connect to Miyoshi City through the local airports, another option is to take the trains to the station nearest your airport. If you plan to visit other areas of Japan a Rail Pass could be a money saving option. Find more info HERE.

It is very hard to exchange currency in Miyoshi City. We recommend exchanging your dollar to Yen at the airports prior to arrival.
