2017 WWA Wake Park World Championships Returns to Camsur Watersports Complex

(September 5, 2017) – The 2017 WWA Wake Park World Championships returns to the Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) in Camarines Sur, Philippines on September 29th – October 1st. Known worldwide as a premier wake destination, CWC is home to the sport’s most innovative features with a six-point cable system and amazing facilities. The 2017 WWA Wake Park World Championships will host the most progressive riding of the season as riders from over thirty countries make the journey to paradise in hopes of winning the 2017 world title.

“We are extremely excited to return to the Camsur Watersports Complex for the 2017 WWA Wake Park World Championships. The Wake Park World Series has seen the most progressive riding ever this season and we are going to redefine the sport once again in the Philippines,” said WWA Executive Director Corrie Wilson. “This is the most highly anticipated wake park event ever, once again giving athletes and spectators the opportunity to experience this world-class venue and the pinnacle of the sport.”

This event will once again feature a unique overall competition, which includes riders representing both, a country and their home park, accumulating points to determine a winner in each category. In addition to the WWA Wake Park World Championships, the event will serve as the fourth round of the 2017 WWA Wake Park World Series. Themed parties will be held throughout the event and all riders, familyand friends are encouraged to attend the festivities.

Athletes will not be able to register on the day of the event, so please take notice of the deadlines listed.

Pro Divisions – $150

A $50 late fee will be added to registrations submitted after September 11th at 5 p.m. EST

All riders must have current WWA membership to be eligible to compete.
