The World Wakeboard Association crowned 16 World Champions last year at the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan International Sports Resort. Each division at the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships was stacked with the toughest competition around the globe; not one division was an easy victory.
Andy Kolb, the 2011 Pro Wakeskate World Champion states, “After a hard time in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals, I had a stand-up run in the finals. Daniel Grant was riding amazing as well. We had no idea who the judges would decide as a winner and honestly, I didn’t care; I was just happy that we both did a perfect run!”
“It is so inspiring to be able to compete against the boys and win the features only event,” an ecstatic Angelika Schriber said. “This was the first time I rode in this division and it was so much fun. I really enjoyed feeding off everyone’s energy and always look for ways to push the boundaries. I challenged myself when I was on the water and can’t wait to ride in features only again at the 2012 Wake Park Worlds”.
The 2012 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan International Resort will ensure top-notch riding again.
