The 2008 WWA Wake Park World Championships and CamSur Rider’s Cup will be held July 1st - 6th in the beautiful province of Camarines Sur, Philippines and will offer over $50,000 in total cash and prizes for the Pro Men and Women Wakeboard, Pro Wakeskate, Obstacles Only and Jr. Men's divisions .

The Wake Park World Championships is open to all international riders with 17 different divisions for wakeboard and wakeskate and will be included as the 2nd stop of the inaugural 2008 WWA Wake Park World Series. In addition to all the action on the cable, the CamSur Rider’s Cup and first stop of the 2008 WWA Wakeboard World Series will see the world's top pro men riders battling it out for $20,000 in total prize money on the newly built CWC boat lake.

If this isn’t enough to keep you entertained, the event will also include a separate winch competition where riders can session the new winch park designed by rail builder Pat Panakos of the world famous Projects Camp in Florida. This contest will offer an additional $4,500 in total prize money and will be held in a jam-style format where competitors can take their best hits on their wakeboard or wakeskates. Be sure to check out www.cwcwake.com for pics, videos and updates on all the new obstacles Pat’s also been adding to the Cable Lake.
